Alex Magallanes is a Stage Manager primarily based out of New York City and Atlanta, Georgia.

This March she will begin work on Millions at The Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia as the Production Assistant.

Most recently she worked as the Assistant for Salome at Heartbeat Opera in New York City, which had a triumphant sold out run with rave reviews, including a New York Times critics pick.

Alex fell head over heels for Stage Managing when working as a Production Assistant at "From Broadway with Love: A Benefit Concert for Parkland”. Realizing she’d found a world that combines her love of the performing arts with her organizational flair, she dedicated herself to making this her career that very night of the performance.

She graduated from The University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Stage Management in 2024, learning how to create theatre in difficult circumstances throughout the pandemic.

In her free time, Alex loves weightlifting, reading, taking their cat Kiwi for walks, and the occasional Nintendo game.
